Lemon in your Water: Healthy or Not?

Fancy lemon in your water?

Lemon water has many health benefits and tastes great, but do you know what it can do to your teeth?

The acidic nature of lemons wears your enamel, causing your teeth to become sensitive, translucent and over time could even contribute to tooth decay!!!

Our dental hygiene tip is: If you have to drink lemon in your water, minimize the amount you use, try drinking it through a straw, drink over a shorter period of time rather than small sips over a long period of time, and avoid brushing for 1 hour after!

Also, try to drink plenty of plain water throughout the day as well.
